delaware county youth Participatory Defense Hub
What is a Participatory Defense Hub?
- A way to support young people facing charges and their families as they navigate the criminal legal system while empowering the community to hold institutions accountable. People facing charges, their families and the community can impact the outcome of cases and transform the landscape of power in the court system.
The Delaware County Youth Participatory Defense Hub will service young people ages 18 and under through systems education, court support, mitigation services, resource referrals and restorative intervention programming. We will host weekly meetings in Delaware County for young people who've been impacted by the criminal legal system, their families and the community.
